On a Clear Day was the first song added to the repertoire for this album, and a jumping off point for the story line. The rhythmic idea came to Steve Webster during a trip to Mexico's Zipolite Beach. We ended up going back there to that very beach to do the majority of the writing for this album. The beach reappears in It's Just Talk (track 9)
